Youth Lead the Conversation at Järvaveckan 2025

The youth editorial team is actively preparing for Järvaveckan 2025, a festival dedicated to engaging local residents and politicians in dialogue about pressing societal issues. Scheduled to commence on June 11 at Spånga IP in Järva, Stockholm, the event will showcase three young reporters—Dunya, Safa, and Hadise—who are determined to challenge politicians with their insightful questions on vital topics such as health and migration policies.

As representatives of a collaboration between Mobile Stories, Ung Media, and 4Inclusion, the reporters aim to shine a light on the everyday challenges faced by their peers. Among key issues, they express significant concern regarding high food prices, questioning the ability of young people to maintain a nutritious diet when healthy food is often financially out of reach. Dunya emphasizes the need for politicians to address different perspectives while Safa calls out the impact of inequality in food access across different regions.

Moreover, the young team will participate in a daily youth panel on the main stage, providing their analysis on party leaders' speeches and voicing their perspectives on current social issues. This initiative not only amplifies youth voices but also aims to foster a dialogue that encourages political leaders to reflect on their policies and their real-world implications for young citizens.
