Four youths aged 14 to 17 were hospitalized following a serious traffic accident involving an A-tractor near Götene on Thursday evening. The incident occurred around 7 PM on a minor road, where the A-tractor reportedly lost control and overturned after traveling at excessive speed, according to witnesses.
Among the four youths, born between 2006 and 2009, one individual has sustained severe injuries. Göran Karlbom, a duty officer for the West Police region, confirmed that the A-tractor was driving faster than permitted at the time of the crash. In response to the accident, the police have initiated an investigation into reckless driving leading to bodily harm, as well as illegal operation of the vehicle. The A-tractor has since been seized for a technical examination to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the accident.
