Veho has successfully acquired Bilia's sales and service operations for Mercedes-Benz trucks in Sweden, a significant step in expanding its truck business. This acquisition includes eight facilities situated in strategic locations such as Stockholm, Södertälje, Norrköping, Överhörnäs, Umeå, Skellefteå, and Luleå, enhancing Veho's geographical reach, particularly in Stockholm and northern Sweden.

The deal allows Veho to manage approximately two-thirds of the Mercedes-Benz truck operations within the country, marking a substantial growth for the company in Sweden's competitive commercial vehicle market. Juha Ruotsalainen, CEO of Veho Group, emphasized the strategic importance of this acquisition, noting, "This acquisition marks an important step in our strategic journey and is a milestone for Veho's truck operations in Sweden."

As part of this transition, 103 employees from Bilia will join Veho, which is intended to ensure operational continuity and retain expertise crucial for delivering services without disruptions.
