Stena Fastigheter has officially launched the Turning Tables Labs initiative in Hermodsdal, Malmö, in partnership with MKB Fastighets AB, Malmö city, and Film i Skåne. Funded by the Postkodlotteriet, this program aims to empower local youth through engaging workshops dealing with film, photography, and music. The initiative will run from week 30 to week 33 this summer, with aspirations for it to become a lasting feature of the local community.

Turning Tables, an international organization established in Jordan in 2009, focuses on enhancing youth empowerment through the arts. Since its arrival in Sweden in 2016, it has emphasized the establishment of permanent cultural spaces. In Hermodsdal, a mobile film studio will also be utilized to foster creativity and self-expression among participants, creating an engaging and supportive environment.

Carin Daal, Head of Communication and Social Sustainability at Stena Fastigheter, expressed, "Through our collective commitment, we can create a positive impact in Hermodsdal." Project leader Otman Ben Smail added that the initiative provides essential opportunities for cultural expression, highlighting its importance for youth development.
