The Swedish women's national basketball team has officially announced its roster for the upcoming EuroBasket 2025 tournament. The tournament is set to kick off with Sweden's debut match against Germany on Thursday in Hamburg. Head coach Robin Sandberg described the squad as a blend of experience and youthful talent, stating, "It's an exciting mix that plays well together."

Frida Eldebrink, participating in her fifth EuroBasket, becomes the Swedish player with the most championships under her belt. The team comprises six players who also participated in the 2021 EuroBasket and five debutants, including rising star Tilda Trygger from North Carolina State University. Sandberg emphasized the advantage of long-term collaboration among the players, particularly in contrast to the German team, which features newer additions.

Notably, Sweden will be without key players Elin Eldebrink and Regan Magarity due to injuries. Two players, Sofia Persson and Tove Sabel, have been left out of the final roster and will serve as reserves. The Swedish team aims to leverage its strong defense and engage multiple players in the offense as they prepare for challenging matches against the UK and Spain in their group stage.
