In a groundbreaking achievement for Swedish equestrian sports, Sweden's all-female team secured its first-ever win at the 2025 FEI Eventing Nations Cup, held at the Lotto Strzegom Horse Trials in Poland from June 18-22, 2025. The team's impressive score of 151.1 placed them ahead of host nation Poland (158.5) and Germany (1100.4), marking a significant milestone in their sporting history.

The Swedish squad consisted of riders Stina Arosenius, Amanda Staam, and Jenny Glebenius, all of whom rode their mares to success. Notably, Glebenius achieved the highest individual placement for Sweden, finishing third with her horse Canela, while Staam followed closely behind in fourth with Carilda Rose AT. The event was characterized by dramatic shifts in standings, with the Swedish team showcasing exceptional resilience to climb from last place after the dressage phase to first after a challenging cross-country segment.

Chef d’équipe Fredrik Bergendorff expressed pride in the team's performance, underscoring the value of such competitions in providing growth opportunities for younger riders. "It demonstrates the hard work and dedication these riders put into their sport," he said. Arosenius also shared her happiness and emphasized the close connection with their horses during this victorious outing.

The Strzegom event presented numerous challenges, as only a few competitors managed to complete the cross-country course clear and within the time limits—a testament to the effort and skill required from the participants. As the Nations Cup Series continues, the next competition will take place in Avenches, Switzerland, from July 24-27, where Sweden occupies a shared lead with Great Britain.
