Sparks Cheerleading from Köping celebrated a successful season, culminating in impressive performances at the RM/SM competition in Helsingborg, where the club secured two gold medals and one bronze. Their participation included four teams: Atomics, which ranked sixth in minor level 2, Galaxy, winning bronze in junior level 1, Shooting Stars achieving gold in junior level 2, and Universe claiming gold in senior level 2.

Mia Karlsson, the club's chairperson, expressed her pride in the team's achievements, emphasizing their high-energy choreography and the rigorous training schedules of five to six hours per week that contributed to their successes. "Qualifying four teams from the DM was beyond our expectations," Karlsson noted, reflecting on the club's growth.

As the competitive season winds down, Sparks Cheerleading is already eyeing future developments, including a new Masters team aimed at participants aged 25 and older. The club has seen a surge in interest, with around 40 individuals on the waiting list eager to join. However, Karlsson stressed the importance of managing this growth effectively to support all teams and accommodate senior athletes' life commitments. The club is optimistic about what lies ahead, planning to reassess and build on their accomplishments as they move into the next season.
