Sjungaregården kulturcentrum in Granö is gearing up for its tenth summer season, set to kick off on June 7, 2025. Project leader Patrik Häggqvist has announced an enhanced focus on arts and cultural events, aiming to offer a vibrant array of programming this year.
The opening day festivities will include a vernissage with a variety of artists such as Ann-Mari Simonsson and Jögge Sundqvist, alongside poetry and music performances by David Väyrynen and Torbjörn Ömalm. Highlights of the upcoming season include a special performance by Vasas flora och fauna on July 19, expected to be a standout event as it marks their only show of the summer.
This year, Sjungaregården will present a diverse selection of performing arts, encompassing genres from modern dance to baroque music, jazz, pop, and post-punk. Furthermore, the exhibition program will span three segments, showcasing innovative artistic techniques, particularly textile art from artists Isa Öhman and Hanna Holmgren.
