A troubling trend has emerged in Sweden, revealing that minors are being actively recruited into gang violence via digital platforms like Telegram. One of the most striking cases is that of a 16-year-old boy named Mattias, who was lured to commit murder for a gang leader known as Ismail "Jordgubben" Abdo, with an offer of 300,000 SEK. This alarming situation has caught the attention of law enforcement, who report that approximately 30 children and youth in Sweden are being targeted for violent acts, primarily against rival gang members in Denmark.

Mattias, who had been placed in a protective home aiming to distance him from criminal influences, responded to an advertisement promising significant financial reward for a murder job. However, before he could execute this violent task, police apprehended him at a train station in Copenhagen. His attempts to engage in gang-related violence illustrate the disturbing reality described by authorities as "crime as a service," where young recruits are coerced into actions that could result in severe legal consequences, including sending images of their identification to validate their involvement.
