During Almedalsveckan 2025, Region Jämtland Härjedalen highlighted its pivotal role in Sweden's sustainable transformation. The region is collaborating with numerous partners, including Samling Näringsliv and Länsstyrelsen Jämtlands län, to host a seminar aimed at illustrating the unique opportunities for businesses and individuals amid the green transition.

Jonas Andersson, chair of the Regional Development Committee, emphasized that Jämtland Härjedalen is rich in renewable energy, forests, and land, all of which position the region as a significant contributor to Sweden's competitiveness in sustainability.
