Guldklaven Gala 2025 to Be Broadcast Live on P4 with Open Voting

The Guldklaven gala, a prominent event in the Swedish music scene, will be live-streamed on P4 today, July 13, 2025. This annual gala celebrates the best in dansband music and gives listeners a chance to participate in the voting process for key awards.

Voting for the coveted Årets Dansband and Årets låt is currently open and will close at 19:30, just before the gala begins. Fans can place their votes by calling designated phone numbers for each nominee. This year's nominees for Årets Dansband include notable groups such as Blender, Casanovas, and Sannex. Meanwhile, the competition for Årets låt features performances by Schlagerz, Excess, and Sannex, with contributions from songwriters like Anna Engh, Mikael Karlsson, and Anna Lingmark.

The gala will be hosted by Anne Kihlström, who is also responsible for curating music for the P4 Dans program, airing every Sunday. "This event not only acknowledges the talents within the Swedish dance music community but also serves as a lively celebration for audiences and artists alike," stated Kihlström, highlighting the significance of the gala in the cultural landscape of Sweden.
