Gröna Lund, Sweden's oldest amusement park, recently launched a distinctive initiative aimed at celebrating the spirit of "Carpe diem" or "seize the day." Starting on May 23, 2025, the park will grant free access and rides to individuals who have a permanent Carpe diem tattoo. This initiative highlights the importance of living in the moment, particularly during challenging times.

Over 1,000 applicants vied for a special experience designed for ten selected individuals with Carpe diem tattoos. The chosen participants were treated to an exclusive day at Gröna Lund, which included early park entry, complimentary rides, a dinner, and VIP access to a concert featuring performer Natasha Bedingfield.

Among the attendees were Victor Eliasson and Jeanette Tilberger Roth, who shared the deep significance of their tattoos. Eliasson remarked, "This experience reinforces why I chose to embrace the philosophy of living for today."

Sebastian Delefors, the marketing manager for Gröna Lund, explained that the initiative is not just about fun in the amusement park but is also a tribute to individuals who aspire to enjoy life's joys. He stated, "In these turbulent times, we want to uplift people and encourage them to make the most of every moment."

This unique initiative is expected to resonate with many, as the invitation to all those over 18 years old with a Carpe diem tattoo serves as a broader motivational message to the public. It is hoped that this opportunity inspires more people to embrace the philosophy of living in the present, enhancing their summer experience at one of Sweden's most beloved amusement parks.
