A forest fire is currently burning in the Järvafältet area, which lies between Järfälla and Sollentuna, prompting authorities to issue a public warning due to the risk of unexploded ammunition in the vicinity. The fire, which has covered an estimated area of 450 square meters, is being actively managed by local rescue services. Due to safety concerns, an 800-meter exclusion zone has been established around the site of the fire, particularly near Säbysjön.

Officials have urged residents to avoid the area, emphasizing the potential dangers posed by the fire, especially considering the presence of unexploded ordnance. Alexander Westerberg, an incident commander from the Mitt rescue center, confirmed that a water sprinkler system has been deployed around the site to help control the blaze without endangering personnel. He noted that while the likelihood of encountering unexploded ammunition is low, they are taking necessary precautions.
