Camurus has announced substantial financial growth for the second quarter of 2025, with an operating profit increase of 228%, reaching 292 million SEK, up from just 89 million SEK in the same period last year. Revenue also surged by 51.9%, totaling 676 million SEK compared to 445 million SEK in Q2 2024, resulting in a robust operating margin of 43.2%, markedly higher than the previous year’s 20.0%.
The company's pre-tax profit saw a significant rise to 307 million SEK, with net profit after tax hitting 245 million SEK—a striking 231.1% increase from 74 million SEK in the prior year. Earnings per share escalated to 4.08 SEK, reflecting a 226.4% rise from 1.25 SEK previously.
CEO Fredrik Tiberg expressed optimism about these results, stating, “We have had a good first half-year with significant successes and look forward to further highlights in the second half of the year.” Camurus has reaffirmed its full-year financial forecast for 2025, expecting total revenues between 2.7 and 3.0 billion SEK, which represents a projected growth of 45-61% compared to 2024. The company anticipates pre-tax profits to range from 0.9 to 1.2 billion SEK, indicating an increase of 63 to 117%.
