Bio Skandia, the beloved cinema on Drottninggatan in Stockholm, is embarking on an exciting new chapter. The venue has announced a collaboration with the concert and event organizer FKP Scorpio to create a vibrant cultural hub in the heart of the city. This partnership aims to broaden the cinema's offerings, transitioning it into a versatile space for various cultural events, including concerts and stage productions.

Under this new initiative, Bio Skandia plans to host 12 concerts and 12 stage productions annually. The first event, featuring South African comedian Masood Boomgaard, is scheduled for September 27, 2025. Subsequent performances will include renowned Swedish artists such as Maxida Märak on October 5 and Eric Gadd on October 17, with additional events to be announced later.

The CEO of Bio Skandia, Vince Scheynius, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, commenting, "We are incredibly proud to partner with FKP Scorpio on this project.
