ABC Solutions, a Norwegian company specializing in steel stairs and railings, is relocating part of its production from Poland to a new facility in Högvalta, near Arvika, Sweden. This decision comes as part of a strategic response to a significant 35.4% decline in performance the company has faced this year, despite growth in its Swedish operations, which began in 2011.

Set to commence production in the fall of 2025, the move aims to enhance logistics and quality control while creating local employment opportunities. Initially, the new facility, known as ABC Produktion AB, will hire two employees, with plans to expand the workforce to about ten within two years. CEO Patric Winberg stated, "We have seen the potential in producing locally. The proximity to our Swedish and Norwegian customers, better control over logistics and quality, and the ability to create local jobs make this the right step for ABC Solutions."

Local officials, including Jonas Andersson, a business developer for Arvika municipality, expressed optimism about the collaboration with ABC Solutions and the job opportunities this relocation could bring to the community. This strategic shift reflects ABC Solutions' commitment to localize production to better serve its markets while contributing to the local economy.
